2013 Finalists

In 2013, the Digital Portraiture Award (aka The Macquarie Digital Portraiture Award) accepted submissions from artists between the ages of 18 and 30 years. A panel of judges selected six finalists whose portraits were displayed at the National Portrait Gallery from 5 September until 10 November 2013.

The winner of the 2013 Award was Nik Lee for his existential portrait Our only concern is the void. Nik received a $10,000 bursary and artistic residency at The Edge at the State Library of Queensland in Brisbane, with support and creative mentorship from the Institute of Modern Art (IMA) and Media Art Asia Pacific (MAAP).
